Government of Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division has already issued Notification No. F.No.5/15/2011-Admn-III dated 7th November 2012 in connection with the Grant of Farewell Grant on 20 Years Service instead of 25 Years.
Earlier this farewell grant was awarded to the employee who retired after completing 25 years service. But now according to this Notification employee who retired after completing 20 years continuous service is entitled to get the Farewell grant. This farewell grant is one of the Assistant Packages for the Federal Govt Employees.
According to this Notification, a sum equal to one month’s pay shall be paid out of Benevolent Fund to an employee, if he/she proceeds on retiring pension after Twenty Years Service on or after first day of September 2012.
